The interview process was not only rigorous, it demonstrated best practice by providing the candidate with the questions ahead of the day. This meant that we could see them truly shine without the additional nervousness and anxiety that unknown questions can bring.
The assessment tasks enabled the candidate to demonstrate a range of transferable skills that would make them highly suitable for teacher training. Providing time in a classroom as part of the process, observing and supporting the class teacher, was an important part as it allowed the candidate to experience the environment and get a first-hand feel of the role they are about to take on”.
