Members and Trustees
Our members have long-standing relationships with our schools and are the custodians of our values. As such, they have the power to appoint and dismiss Trustees as well as the responsibility for ensuring the Articles of Association are fit for purpose according to national guidance and governance best practice.
We are also proud to work with experienced and widely skilled Trustees, who are strongly committed to raising standards in all our schools and ensuring probity. Directors support the Trust in making strategic decisions and hold our senior leaders to account for our financial and academic performance.

Collecting and Publishing Board Diversity Data
Statement from the Board of Trustees: The Board believes it is important that we reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Diverse Boards promote inclusive school environments and provide diverse role models for staff and young people. We collect data on the diversity of the Board, including age, ethnicity, gender and religion and use this data to inform our recruitment and training needs and ensure there is always a diverse range of perspectives around the table to support robust decision making. We do not publish diversity data online as individual Trustees could be identified and we have a legal obligation to protect their personal data.
